Wallace & Gromit Celebrate the Jubilee with the National Trust!
A new short Wallace & Gromit animation has been created for the inventive duo’s partnership with the National Trust! The new one minute animation is being shown at the National Trust’s Jubilee celebrations, but we can give you a sneak peek of it in the video above!
The pair will be hanging the bunting in preparation for over 70 Jubilee tea parties held across the country, where they will be featured in a brand new one minute animation called ‘Wallace & Gromit’s Jubilee Bunt-a-thon’. Busy preparing for the big Jubilee weekend, the animation shows the pair decorating a huge National Trust manor.
This special new one minute animation took 3 months to create! Here are some fun facts about its making…
- 30 people contributed to making the animation
500 hours were taken to complete it, from storyboard to post production
60 metres of bunting were used to decorate West Wallaby Street and the National Trust manor
30 kilograms of modelling clay was used
…and 8 hours were spent brushing the grass on set with a fork to get it looking just right!
