Aardman and Durrell Release “The Lonely Dodo” Film
Aardman have recently been working on a project that aims to raise awareness of endangered species and their struggle to avoid extinction.
Today sees the worldwide release of The Lonely Dodo, a new four-minute Aardman animation created for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
The film follows a lonely dodo in search of another member of his species. Although it may be too late for him, the film highlights that there are many more species that can be saved from extinction with the charity’s help.
Did you recognise any of the voices? The animation features the famous vocal talents of Stephen Fry as the narrator and Alistair McGowan as the dodo! Both celebrities are friends of the charity and supporters of the organisation’s goal to save endangered species from extinction.
