Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you will know that the world has gone sporting mad! Check out these awesome animated reconstructions of the highlights from a certain global international sporting tournament that have been published on the Guardian website.

Although they may look complicated, these animations use some very basic stop-motion techniques that you could try at home using Animate It!
